Hello!

My fiancé and I are optimistically planning our honeymoon for August 2022 in Spain (depending on covid and travel restrictions, obviously!) We are very keen to visit cultural and heritage attractions, eat delicious food, and have amazing scenery to celebrate our new chapter! We have 19-20 ish days and would like to include Barcelona, La Rioja, San Sebastian, Bilbao, and a trip to an excellent beach location! I'm aware that August is extremely warm in some areas and very touristy, but we want to go right after our wedding. As we expect its so hot, we are avoiding the interior and south for this trip!

We are looking for a luxury beach resort with a spa and great pool to kick off our trip for 4-5 nights. We have been looking at all the Baeleric Islands (leaning towards Menorca for its relative 'quietness'), as well as Costa Brava, but would love to hear your recommendations? Are there any good options in the North of Spain? Our budget for this beachy-bougie portion is maximum $800/night.

I'd also love if anyone would pick apart my itinerary and let me know if I should switch anything up. While we want some 'slow time" we are also really keen to experience as much as we can at a comfortable pace! I would also like any recommendations for hotels in the areas.
