Hotel Jane in Florence

I'm considering staying at Hotel Jane in Florence in April, but I can't find out much about it. It's a three star hotel with great rates "close to the river Arno and the quarter of S.Croce." Claims to be 10 minute walk from the center of Florence but I suspect it's much farther. The address is Via Orcagna, 56-58. I found one review at tripadvisor.com, but that's it. Numerous previous posts to this board have gone unanswered. So can anyone solve the mystery of "Hotel Jane?"

You can read a couple more comments about this hotel on website, www.venere.com. Overall, comments are positive; one describes it as being 15 minutes walk from historic center. According to the map on Venere, the location is actually just outside of what they consider the "Santa Croce" neighborhood.

We booked a room there for April. I used Expedia. You will find info there. If I recall, I tried to book directly with the hotel, but they never responded. Expedia cost $5 more for the service.
