hotel tips for Budapest

Does anyone have suggestions for a moderately priced hotel in Budapest?

I guess one must consider where yu want to be and what you consider "moderately" priced. I think an excellent combination of value may be found at the Taverna. It is quite central.

I spent a week in Budapest last May. I rented an apartment. While there I checked out several hotels in central Budapest and I would agree with Rod about the Taverna. Great location in the heart of things and close to the Danube and metro stations.

Hi,

I stayed at Hotel Fortuna.

It served its purpose.

Hotel Victoria, on the Buda side of the Danube with picture window views from the rooms to Parliament and Chain Bridge.

We just returned from Budapest and stayed at the Art Otel. It was lovely with very good views of the Fisherman's Bastion. We booked through Priceline and it was very reasonable.
Budapest is enchanting!
