I do not know about the hotel, but you are probably aware that Asnières is a basically middle-class suburb of Paris, and not Paris proper. You will have to take a commuter train to Paris every day in order to visit the city.

I agree that if you want to see Paris you can get something more central, just as cheaply in a very safe neighborhood.
There is a Royal Phare Hotel thread recently. I just stayed there. Absolutely a great location, safe, and I paid 65 Euros a night.
I didn't get breakfast, but I think they offer it.
I always suggest Venere.com to find a hotel in Europe. Has good reviews. Good descriptions. You can book through them or try to find a better deal at the same hotel with someone else. Or direct.
