In paris (3/17-3/20)-Museum Pass for Louvre, etc

Should I purchase a museum pass to see the louvre, versailles, and other major attractions for the 4 days that I am there or not since I am going in an "off-peak" season?

I've never noticed there was much of an off-peak season as far as visitors to major attractions like the Louvre is concerned. I've seen lines stretching two long blocks for the Musée d'Orsay in February when there was a popular special exhibit. Since it's no hassle to get the pass, and itwill probably save you money if you visit 3 sites or more, yes, I'd say you should purchase one.

St. Cirq:
Thank you for the tip. Should I buy the 3 day pass or the one day pass? Do you know the prices by any chance?

Museum Pass: 1 day 15 E 3 days 30 E 5 days 45 E

Here is info I have compiled for myself (same week as your trip) on admissions of the museums in which we're interested:

Arc de Triomphe 6.10 E
Basilique Saint-Denis 5.5 E
Centre Georges Pompidou 8.5 E (closed Tues.)
Louvre 7.5 E (closed Tues.)
Musee Carnavalet ? free
Crypte Archeologique de Notre Dame 3.3E
Conciergerie 6.0 E
Tours de Notre Dame 6.1 E
Musee d?Orsay 7 E (closed Mon.)
Musee National Picasso 5.5 E (closed Tues.)
Musee Rodin 5 E (closed Mon.)
Sainte-Chapelle 5.5 E

Add up the ones you're likely to visit in one or 3 day's time and see if how the price works out.

Hi fab

I suggest that you get the pass, if only to avoid the lines.

Even though the price has gone up, it is still worth it to skip the wait

We were there a couple of weeks ago. We bought the three day pass, and since we spent the better part of a day at Versailles, only hit four museums. I think we broke even money-wise. For some reason (our days were mid-week, so maybe that's why), we never encountered any lines. On Saturday the line for the D'Orsay was VERY long, and a pass would have allowed you to skip the line. Definitely worth it!
