Is there a website to buy tickets for a bullfight in Seville?

One suggestion I have is to avoid the Sol (sun) seats. It can get quite hot. The Sol y Sombra seats are a good compromise, because just when you think you're going to bake the shade comes to the rescue. The higher priced seats are in the Sombra (shade).

Dear Vita,
There is a new website to buy bullfight tickets all over Spain. The only drawback is that it is only in Spanish, so far. They have a phone number, though, so they might have someone who speaks English: www.tauroentrada.com
For the end of May, there are only "novilladas", which are fights with young, smaller bulls, for new matadors. These are not as popular as the ones with the more experienced bullfighters, so it should be easy to find tickets the day of here in Seville. Also, the website charges for the service.
If you do decide to advance purchase them, click on "Seville(Nov)" on the menu of cities on the left.

We will be in Sevilla on June 30 and also want to see a bullfight. Are we risking not getting in if we buy when we arrive (it's a Sunday)? By the way, I think they are not matadors that particular day but picodors (or something like that).

Marian,
Nothing on June 30. On June 29, also a novillada, like the one I described to Vita. You should be fine, you can get tickets the same day at the bulring's ticket office or a couple days ahead at any bullfight ticket dispatch around town. There is one on Tetuán street, called "La Teatral".
After that day, nothing going on until September, because the bullfighting season then shifts to the coastal towns, where most spaniards spend the summer vacationing.
You can check the schedule in other andalusian towns in www.portaltaurino.com , but it is a little early to know the calendar for the summer season in some of those cities. You might want to wait a couple of weeks or so or contact the hotels of the cities where you will be staying, they might have more updated local information.

Thanks Olga, Sorry I gave the wrong date - you are correct, it's the 29th and novilladas. That's what I get for using my memory recall. Thanks for the ticket tip. We will try to get tickets at the ticket office.
