Yes, there will be taxis. Your hotel is only a short 5-minute walk to the metro station, and the Copenhagen metro is one of the simplest to navigate. You can go anywhere very quickly.

And while were at it ☺️ we’ll be in Denmark for 4days, thoughts on some spots to hit, we really enjoi walking/exploring cities we visit, while in Amsterdam a few years back we walked almost 15 miles a day

Oslo and Sweden are still possible with 3-4 days in each, i know thats a short time, but thats our plan for now, flights are very short and reasonable ☺️

Hello all, we are going to book the crown plaza hotel for a couple days because its close to the venue, any suggestions to where our hotel in the city should be for good walks and maybe catching a train or cool sights to see.

we will also be needing suggestions on stays in Oslo and stockholm, the way its going is we are to arrive in Oslo first for 4 days, take a fast train to stockholm, then a quick flight to copenhagen each city gets 4 days each, i know its not a lot of time, but it is what it is :0)

Wow, that is a lot of walking! Copenhagen is a remarkably walkable city. I would leave the apartment, spend a day exploring and end up doing 7-8 miles. I could do it again the following day and the next and never see the same thing twice. Yes, your hotel is at a really convenient location for access to center city.

Although your time is somewhat limited and you're committed to the concert, you can do a boat tour and then a 4-hour walking tour and see and learn a lot about Copenhagen. I'm really into museums, but there's an obvious time commitment to get the best value out of them. That said, Louisiana Museum is a must-visit, in my opinion. I set aside a full day for it and had a very memorable dinner there, but I think a person could do it in 4 hours and also enjoy a shorter visit to the cafe. I also liked the Museum of Copenhagen and found it a more educational experience than the National Museum of Denmark. Both are good, though.

Visit Freetown Christiania, but remember - no photos! You'll visit the iconic Nyhavn, but surprisingly - or maybe not - there are not of lot of great food options on the harbor. I had 2 of my least enjoyable meals there.

And of course, no trip to Copenhagen is complete without going to Tivoli Gardens. A day visit is nice when the flowers are in bloom and a night visit is always cool.

The Copenhagen burger scene is incredibly underrated. If you're a burger lover, be sure to hit Bronx Burger or Gasoline Grill (small chain). And if the weather is nice, go to Seaside Toldboden. It's a little restaurant collective right on the waterfront that - when not too crowded - is just a cool place to spend an afternoon eating and having a drink or coffee and just enjoy being on the water.

Book a hotel in the city centre and go to your concert from there. Copenhagen isn’t big enough to warrant dividing your time in different parts of it. Taxis are very expensive. Uber doesn’t exist.
If you like walking, you might to walk around Kastellet or take public transport to Bakken and walk around the Deer Park, beach at Bellevue, the beautiful suburbs of Klampenborg and Charlottenlund. Visit Nyboder to see the historical houses or the Cisterne museums up by the old reservoirs.

Another piece of unsolicited advice, try something different to burgers. Copenhagen has a great food scene, well, at least for Scandinavia it does. Open sandwiches, traditional Danish dishes, authentic Danish pastries etc, they are a delight.

Hello friends, well a lot of progress has been made on our scandinavian journey. Our flights have been booked! we will be starting our journey in Oslo for 4 days. then a train ride to Stockholm for 4 days, then a flight to Copenhagen.

we booked the Ascot hotel in centre city Copenhagen and we will be getting a ride to the concert and back to the hotel, we are not going to be separating lodgings. we have found a couple parks and of course Tivoli food court for some dining, we'll be visiting FreeTown Christania, all walking distance from our hotel.

Now we have to look at Stockholm and Oslo for lodging and adventures, feel free to comment on sweden and norway, cheers !!!!

It's the right thing to do. Copenhagen isn't that big to warrant splitting lodgings. Yes there are lots of parks, castles, museums, Tivoli has several restaurants, Copenhagen has many notable places to eat. Hope you get to try some open sandwiches and real Danish pastries.

The archipelago is the trip to take in Stockholm, the Vasa museum & Djurgården, Skansen, to mention some of the places to go. Sheraton Stockholm is well placed, close to central station. You can take the train from Stockholm to Copenhagen instead of flying.

Thanx for the Sweden suggestion, im trying to wrap my head around the “Archipelago” sounds really cool and depending on the tour lenth might be a nice option.

We are at a stand still and need some advice.

our plan was to do 3-4 days in Denmark Sweden and Norway.

we may be extending our stay but now excluding Sweden, so longer in Norway. We already booked our flight to fly first into Oslo when it really should of been Bergen and the Fjords.

what are your thoughts on flying into Oslo, staying a couple days and taking a train to Bergen to explore the Fjords and skipping sweden, then to Copenhagen for a 4day stay and the Concert

Hello, now a question about public bus transportation to and from Oystes from Bergen for our 1hr boat ride around Hardanger fjord, i know i spelled something wrong, but thank you
i know its an hour an 45 min ride with almost 70 stops!!!!!!! But what ever, im in Norway Lol Can we and/or should we get tickets ahead ??
