Omgsh! Swissminiatur!!!! we already planned on going there and have been joking that we will dress like Giants in lederhosen and pose for next year’s holiday cards!!!!

Worst case scenario, if we just slept in Como and had dinner there each night… in theory, we could do day trips to all of these places (also a train to Milan). Or is it really just better to avoid totally?

Austrian Lederhosen have absolutely nothing to do wth Switzerland!
Swoissminiatur https://www.swissminiatur.ch/?lang=en is a easy car ride either along Lake Lugano (from Como or Menaggio) or through the hills from Arcegno via San Fedele - Lanzo - Arogno

Another gem is the cog wheel railway from Capolago (Lake Lugano, along the motorway Como - Lugano) to viewpoint Monte Generoso.
