We'll be going the second week of April and missing the great weather... doing my research I've heard so much about the lemon trees. When do they bloom? Citrus blossoms are the most amazingly fragrant bloom and would make up for missing the beach. Seems like it should be documents somewhere??

Even if the trees are not in blossom, you need only take a leaf from a tree and crush it.

Ira is right about the lemon leaves. Heavenly!!!!
We were inAmalfi the first week in May and the fruit was hanging from the trees. So you probably will be there at the right time.

Don't forget to pick up some lemon soap while you're in the area...Heavenly!

Have been several times in May and the trees already had full-size fruit. Don;t know how lemon trees work - but I think it would be more than a couple of weeks between flower and full-sized fruit.

Why not check with your hotel?
