Lippizaner Horses: Piber or Lipica?

Has anyone visited both/either farm? We will be in Slovenia and will have a car for 3 days. Later we'll also stop in Graz but will be traveling by train so that could be more difficult. Hardly an earth shattering decision but wonder if anyone has an opinion as to which makes the best stop?

We've been to Piber a couple of times. There is some good hiking in the area as well. The farm visit is pretty relaxed and you can see the horses before they turn the classic white color. In some ways, it reminded me of going to the Morgan Horse Farm in Middlebury, VT (if you've ever been there).
When we visited, we were staying up in Seckau, so didn't dine or stay overnight in the immediate area.

BTilke, It sounds like it's worth a short stop. I also looked at the website for a wine bar you recommended in Graz (LoVin) and was happy to see that it is open at lunch time. Thanks!

Good background reading, if you can find a used copy: Mary Stewart's "Airs above the Ground."
