Lufthansa Malpensa bus
Hi Fodorites,
We plan to take this bus (if our flight arrives on time) to Como (Piazza Matteotti) and then the C30 bus to Bellagio. www.lufthansaairportbus.it.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks DalaiLlama and Jean for the initial info.

Where are you flying in from? If a Schengen country and with no checked luggage you will have no problem whatsoever. If from elsewhere your problem is not customs but passport control. Unless you have a passport from the European Union (EU) or certain other countries you will have to take the non-EU queue which could take time depending upon where you have come from and the nationalities on your plane - if you haven't already done so reserve a seat near the front of the plane so you get off first and thus first into the queue!
I happened to be in Como this morning and saw the Lufthansa bus (which is actually an Autostradale bus and I saw no sign for Lufthansa but I did not look at it from every angle). It stops right where the Como Lago train station is so the walk to Piazza Matteotti is no more than 50 yards.

Thanks nochblad!
We're flying from JFK. We have seats in the middle-that's was the closest to the front we could get when we booked 4 months ago.
We'll hope for the best. If we miss the Lufthansa, we'll just take the Milano shuttle bus or the Milano express train.
Grazie ancora!

To connect with the C30 bus you should take the Malpensa Express. You change at Saronno for the train to Como Lago. But I think 1 hour should be more than sufficient if your plane arrives on time.
