Madrid to Barcelona to Geneva to Lisbon to Madrid?

I am traveling alone in November and flying in and out of Madrid. I have 14 days to travel. I am interested in seeing Andalucia. Is there an easy, safe way to do so? What is best train service from Madrid to Barcelona. Is it best to fly from Barcelona to Geneva, Geneva to Lisbon and Lisbon to Madrid?

Any suggestions, assistance, etc. is appreciated.

All this in 14 days, including stops in Lisbon and Geneva?

I believe that there is an express train between Madrid and Seville and between Madrid and Barcelona. Yes to your last question, but why Geneva in this mix?

Un - you do know that Andalusia is the opposite direction from Barcelona don;t you.

How do you plan on fitting that in?
Are you going Madrid to Seville to Cordoba to Granada to Barcelona to Geneva to Lisbon and back to Madrid.

This is nothing but a tour of the train stations and airports of europe (getting to Geneva without flying really isn;t practical.

IMHO you have twice as many places as you can possible see. If you want - see Madrid and Andalusia. If you prefer - see Madrid Barcelona and Lisbon, More than that is wasting way too much of your time in transit.

You left out Johannesburg.

The AVE, high speed train goes between Madrid and Sevilla and Madrid and Barcelona. There are numerous flights between Sevilla and Barcelona.

I suggest you look at a map and remember that travel time includes many activities including packing, checking in and out and getting to from the train station or airport.

I would limit my two weeks to Madrid, Barcelona, and Andalucia and not consider Lisbon and Geneva.

Okay, I guess I will save Switzerland for another time. I appreciate the advise. I want to include Lisbon on this trip though, so is my best bet Madrid, Barcelona and Lisbon?

You can check your alternatives on Iberia, Vueling, and the train AVE for prices and schedules and see what is appealing to you.
