Meeting Spot Near the Eiffel Tower

Hello! I just booked a last minute day trip to Paris tomorrow to see my brother who is there on vacation. I am wondering if anyone could recommend a nice lunch spot for us to meet up at near the Eiffel Tower (or within walking distance)?
Thanks!

For "dramatic effect" I would say meet on the Trocadero terrace! What fun.

There are tons of restaurants across the traffic circle out front.

I agree that the Trocadero esplanade would be the best place. Perhaps your budget can handle the Café de l'Homme right in the Palais de Chaillot? (Mine certainly couldn't.)

Maybe the new cafe Mini Palais in the Grand Palais would be a bit less costly the cafe de le homme.

Oooo, Avalon, that looks like a keeper! Have you eaten there? I love the Palais area.

The prices on the carte weren't too bad. And that's probably for dinner. Perhaps lunch would be even less?

I've eaten at Restaurant de la Tour several times and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

We ate at Cafe Kleber, 4 Place du Trocader, 2 weeks ago.
The speciality of the day/night was Osso Bucco so I went for that with a glass of Cotes du Rhone. My husband had spaghetti bolognese and a beer. Bill 40.85 euros.
Food was plentifull & tasty.
Service was realyy friendly and welcoming.

I love La Terrasse near the Ecole Militaire metro. Excellent mussels and a quick walk over to Champs de Mars and the tower.
