Seasons greetings to one of Fodor's MVP posters IMO - above and beyond call of duty. And, a Happy New Year too.

Thanks and merry Christmas back to everyone!

Adelaidean - no worries. We still have Christkind and Knecht Ruprecht to bring the gifts

Great photos Ingo and Nelson!

Merry Christmas from Colorado (I just got home from Europe on Thursday - including two wonderful weeks in Switzerland).

Another Happy Christmas to all from Adelaide.

Beautiful photos from those of you in colder climates, and great fun photos from Adelaidean.

Santa will certainly need a swim here given our current high temps with 41C coming up tomorrow!

Thank you to all who provide so much helpful information and to those who shares their travels.
Been a bit confined to home this year and do so much enjoy reading all of your stories.

Hello love_travel, forgot you are from Adelaide too.
Loads of people at the beach today, way too hot, they must be tourists

Hoping everyone is enjoying their holidays! This year we opted to spend four weeks of December/early January in Paris instead of celebrating at home in Switzerland. Had some bumps with a tooth infection and laryngitis, but it's been a great trip anyway.
