Nice airport to Eze
Hello all you wonderful fodorites!!
I will be flying into Nice in a couple of weeks and I'm looking for the easiest/cheapest route to Eze. Taking a taxi is not an option (too expensive) and neither is renting a car since I will be meeting up with someone in Eze who will already have a car.
I know there is a bus from the airport to the train station in Nice. Once at the train station, I could just train to Eze.
Is there a bus directly from the airport that makes a stop in Eze?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I assume you want to go to Eze village at the hight of moyen corniche. Unless there is a direct bus from Airport that I have not seen, take a bus 98 at Nice airport for Gare Routière (bus terminal) a bit farther than Place Massena then change to 82 for Eze-Village/Plateau de Justice. Don't take 99 going to SNCF railway station. Buy a day ticket at Nice airport bus stop for €4 that's good for the two buses you need to take + others for the day. No.82 seemed to run only 1 per hour or so(last novbember). If the meeting point with your friend is Eze-Mer (sea level), do the same but at La Gare Routière-Nice, take No.100 for Monaco -Menton and get off at the closest stop to your meeting point in Eze. This bus is much more frequest, about every 20 minutes.

It seems you are closer to EZE GARE than EZE VILLAGE? These are quite far apart places. Look at the map:

This from another travel site:
"Eze village is beside the Moyenne Corniche (RN7) road between Nice and Monaco-Menton.
The seaside part of the commune, Eze-sur-Mer, is on the main train line between Nice and Monaco-Ventimiglia, and there are frequent trains all day long. The connection between Eze-sur-Mer and the village is via the Chemin de la Mer footpath, which is long and steep. The connecting road between the Basse Corniches and the Moyenne Corniche is the D48, Bretelle St. Laurent, to the east. Bus and taxi service is available."

We've made the same trip in the past. Just take a taxi to the train station take the train to Monaco-Ventimiglia and get off at Villefranche Su Mer (the first stop after leaving Nice; about 20 minutes), and take the bus to Eze by the seaside. Make sure to see Villefranche; I want to retire there!
