Paris shuttle to CDG: how early for early morning flight

So many things start to pile up the day before you leave for Europe...

Ok so I have a 7am flight out of CDG on a Thursday at the end of my trip. I called the airline and they said that they think the check-in desk doesn't open until 6am, but I'd have to be checked in by 6:30am. There theoretically could be a line at 6am of people wanting to check in.

I wanted to take Paris shuttle from the Saint Germain/Saint Michel area to CDG. While Paris shuttle technically opens at 5am, they can pick me up as early as 4am for the same price. Probably pickups before 5am don't have as many people on them. What time would be best to be picked up?

I've had a couple of those 7 am flights out of CDG in recent years, and on a weekday the place is relatively dead before 6 am. That said, to be safe, because CDG can be a bit of a horror and there's always the chance of an accident on the périférique, I'd have the shuttle pick you up at 4:30 or 4:45am.
