Please advise. We will be staying Four days in Paris, 2 days in Lyon, 3 days in St. Tropez, 3 days in Villa Franche Sur Mer, 1 day in Milan and back to the states. We are not renting a car as of yet and understand that we must take a bus from St. Rafael to get in and out of St. Tropez. We like to hang out in cafes and at the beach. <BR> Thanks

Sounds like a lot of travelling in such a short time. I would definitely leave out St Tropez.

I was in St. Tropez 2 weeks ago for 1 day on a cruise--fell in love with it--and if you like to shop--has 400 shops in little alleys and passage ways--a mecca for shoes and handbags that are so different from anything yoyu'll see in US --Definitely go--but rent a car!

2 weeks ago, St-Tropez was probably fine. The problem is that during summer, the town is totally overran by people in vacations. It's amongst the most awfully crowded places in France.
