Please help me decide which airlines to fly with to Amsterdam from Montreal
These airlines have almost the same air fares around US$550.00 from YUL (Montreal-Dorval)to AMS for April flights
British Airways (via London-Heathrow)
Air Canada (via London-Heathrow)
Air France (via Paris-CDG)

What is your experience with any of these airlines?
Which one would you use again?
Which one you weren't crazy about?
Why?
This is our first flight to Europe and I hope you will be able to help us.
Thanks
Zoe, Steve and Bradley

Take a flight via London. Total trip time will be shorter compared to transiting at Paris. (too far South)
Both Heathrow and CDG are not ideal for transiting, but do-able. Air Canada will connect at LHR with British Midland which are fine. Is the direct KLM flight much more expensive?

British Airways has lost my wife's luggage AND my daughter's luggage on two separate flights. Heathrow is a mess, confusing, crowded, and occasionally BA will book a flight that arrives at Gatwick and then a departing connection from Heathrow, and it is up to you to get there. KLM was wonderful in my flight from Amsterdam to Seattle last week, and I have always found them to be personable and helpful.
