PRINCESS DIANA

If I had to walk from the Arc de Triomphe to the Pont de L'alma tunnel where Princess Diana's crash site was does anyone know how long it would take?

What about if I walked from the"Rond-Point des Champs Elysees" to the Pont de L'Alma tunnel?
Thanks for your time in advance.

well... there's nothing to see there. The 'crash site' is down inside the tunnel, where a pedestrian can't go. There once was a makeshift memorial where people left stuff under the 'flame' but I doubt that's still going on. Nothing official in place for sure.

I walked by there on the 12th of May and nothing is left at the "flame." I remember several years back seeing all the graffiti and notes left, but now it's all cleaned up.

I'm kind of sorry that all of the handwritten tributes are gone. I found them rather touching.

You can now buy an off-cut from her wedding dress at http://www.adressfordiana.com/
It will only cost you £1000 pounds
or roughly $2000 dollars
