Provence Two Week Villa Rental

We are planning a family holiday to Provence in 2006 and are interested in renting a more 'upscale' villa for 2 weeks for 4 - 6 people. Does anyone have any recommendations for good and reputable rental resources? Thanks.

You can look at the following: www.holiday-rentals.com
www.gite.com
www.vrbo.com

You can also look at the many individula rentals companies..just "google" for them.

Since you haven't specified a town or area, I suggest you also look on

www.visitprovence.com

I just picked up this year's book from our village tourist office and the listings are varied. I can tell you that an "upscale" rental with pool in this area (around St Remy) will cost around 3,000 euro for a week. I have several friends who rent their homes in season - some use this site

http://www.vrbo.com/

You also should know that a "villa" here means a new house, not necessarily something upscale.

Here's one in the Alpilles--more at the same site.

In the Nice area:

There are more, too.

Happy hunting!

You can add:

www.francebyheart.com

There are many, many..that is why my first message said, after looking at the 3 sites I gave you, to "google" for many, many others that include the ones added, plus many more...you will find places duplicated on the various sites.

We are spoiling you by not letting you do some searching on your own!!

Enjoy.............
