ROME- tour guide Recommendations for TEENAGERS

Anyone have specific people or tour guide companies that they can recommend that made Rome "come alive" for teenagers?

Are you wanting tour guide companies that would appeal to teenagers while IN Rome, or is it tours that will bring teenagers TO Rome?

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. While we are in Rome, we wanted to take a private tour or tours( ancient Rome & The Vatican) There will be 6 of us - 3 Adults and 3 teenage girls.

Used this company and had a great experience. They will customize a tour to fit the age group of your party.

I am taking a young teen tomorrow and we're planning on going to the movie/multimedia experience called The Time Elevator. It takes you through the centuries of Roman history to today, and the seats move from one area to another. Someone recommended it to us, and it is only 11E per person, so we thought it would be a good activity. Will let you know when we return how it was. The shows run all day everyday, and there is a website for it which I have lost. sorry

We went on an EnjoyRome walking tour. The tour guide was a young woman in her early 20s and she was marvelous! She taught us all how to cross the streets in Rome (no easy feat to the uninitiated). The tour was not an in-depth kind of thing like the Scala Reale tours, but it certainly held our interest for two hours. Our guide was very open to questions along the way and it was a great intro to Rome. The group we were with ranged in ages from college age kids to older people, and everyone seemed to be pleased from what I could see!

I saw the Vatican with Through Eternity and it certainly came alive. Though there were no teenagers in our group of about 15 im quite certain teenagers would be more than happy with the experience.

I have never done anything with a guide, but I imagine a really cute Roman guy in his early 20s would make Rome "come alive" for the girls.

Maybe for the mother(s) too...
