Seville - Ronda - Malaga
I am trying to figure out whether to drive/ or take train from Seville to Malaga but have a visit into Ronda.
My question is I know there is a bus that runs from Seville to Ronda, does it run all year round? I notice losamarillos, when I put dates in october it appears to state 'no sale services'. So does it run in October. Has anyone had experience on the bus?
If I were to drive, what's the best route to take say starting from Seville to Ronda then to Malaga -- Should I pass other areas in a day or would it be too much and need a stay somewhere.
Thanks for your help.

I took those buses that go thru the fabled white towns - old towns all buildings painted white - in late October a few years back - they seem to be regular buses running all year like trains would.

Thanks for the response. I was just a little concerned as the site would not display the dates in October as available to purchase tickets.
How was the ride anyhow? Is it worth going into the white towns or should I skip it?

The ride was nice - the perched white towns and all and the bus did stop for a while in one of them - could easily get off and back on another bus - if schedules allow it.
I loved Ronda!
Keep topping and maybe someone can give you a more recent experience and info on the buses.

A direct bus (Autocares Grupo Samar) runs from Sevilla Prado San Sebastian to Ronda on a daily basis (http://www.samar.es).

We drove, and originally were going to spend time driving around the white villages, but were captivated by Ronda.
Good luck on your decision.

We've always driven to Ronda. The only bus we've taken is from Sevilla to Granada, but they do have left luggage lockers at the Ronda bus station.
The web site for Los Amarillos is: https://losamarillos.autobusing.com
They also have an online guide for buying tickets: www.autobusing.com/samar/guia.html
You should be able to purchase your tickets online as soon as they put up the October schedule. The earliest bus leaves at 07:00. Tickets should be €12,42/each, one-way. If you have any questions, you can email them: [email protected]
