shoes for men

Hi, what kind of shoes should my husband wear at amalfi coast on boats etc. Other than tennis shoes which isn't an option. Thank You

In another thread you mentioned your husband having a mobility issue. Would it not be the primary criterion for choosing shoes?

Why aren't tennis shoes an option? Is it the fit, the looks? There are hiking shoes that span wide ranges. Some look like business shoes.

Why not sneakers?

On a boat, why not Top-Siders?

I also like these:

Or go full-on Italian and where Tod's loafers.

My favorite shoes for travel (and even my foot doctor said I couldn't do better for my feet

Ecco, Cross.
Here's a picture, but you can get them at most shoe stores and certainly at Ecco stores. Sorry the link is so long. And be prepared, they run about $150.

Meindl hiking boots. You can walk for tens of kilometers in those with no fear of foot pain or blisters. They are comfortable in both winter and summer. Should be worn with appropriate hiking socks. If you are wearing pants, it's not obvious that they are boots, if appearances concern you.
