Is there anything about this Triangle that would draw "world travelers" aside from the names?
I don't know where the "Triangle" is located exactly, as I am not interested in visiting the other two towns, but ****ing is in the Salzkammergut, which is the lake and mountain area north of Salzburg, which is frequented by many tourists. From the information that I culled from VirtualTourist.com, I'm not the only one who has an interest in this hamlet.
I was just wondering why you were surprised that no one could "honestly answer your query"..
I have asked several questions since I started posting on this board back in March, regarding my future trip to Germany (with a dash of Austria, Czech, Switzerland and France). With every question I received a wealth of information in answers, from people who had visited the region, as well as people who live there - and for that, a big THANK YOU. I was hoping that I could again tap into the faucet of knowledge and obtain the information to travel to this "un-named" hamlet, just as I have received information to travel to many properly named places.
And, although I received MANY answers to my query, they only made me laugh and appreciate the wit and humor of life. Honestly, I'm still looking for a link to the public transportation system in that area, if anyone can help. Peace. >-

Since we routinely Anglicize German place names (München/Munich), Köln/Cologne, why don't we refer to it as "Effing" (always provided that it won't be confused with some hamlet in Northumbria)?
