Tower of London Gift Shop
We've visited the Tower of London a couple of times, so we don't plan on seeing it again this trip. I was wondering, however, if its possible to visit the new gift shop there without purchasing a ticket. We happened to walk by it one evening (after the Tower was closed for the day) and thought the new gift shop looked pretty nice. Anyone know?

new gift shop? you mean the one right outside the gate to the tower (bldg top right in photo)?

yes i recall that the ticket check is done only when you go through the historical gates before you cross the moat

Yes, they've totally re-done the entrance to ToL - new ticket booths, welcome centre, expanded the gift shop, etc... The gift shop I'm talking about is the actually the old gift shop that was just inside the black iron gates. They've at least doubled the size of it.
