Want To Visit Paris at Christmas With MaitaiTom and Tracy? Now You Can!
Well, sort of. Today, I am unveiling my new travel website that contains all my trip reports, pictures, photo slide shows and a Music Video of our 2006 visit to Paris at Christmas (link below)
For the video, click on link and then click on "Paris Video 2006." Wait for about four or five minutes to let it load, hit play and enjoy nine minutes of Paris. The third (and final) song is entirely devoted to Christmas photos of Paris (with a few taken in Reims). The gentleman in the video you see with Tracy at the Absinthe Store is Paris Walking Guide, Michael Osman.
There are also European trip reports that encompass parts of France, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland and Austria.
The website also contains a "blog" entry called "California Dreaming" that is always a work in progress. It focuses on things to do in California and will be updated when we visit various locales, museums, restaurants, etc. It even has an RSS feed that you can subscribe to (No Advertising, of course), and it will update you you when there is a new entry.
By the way, for those of you who attended the Washington DC Get Together, those photos are now up. For all the wine consumed, you all look pretty damned good.
Since travel is my passion, I thought the least I could do is share this passion with fellow travelers on this board. In some small fashion, I wanted to give back to this board that has afforded me so many great travel tips, and perhaps by reading and watching this website, you can get some valuable information from me, such as "don't operate heavy machinery after chugging Slivovitz."
I will be adding to the website as I go and also will download photos from other past European and U.S. trips when I get the opportunity. I hope you enjoy the site!!

Wow! What a fun video of Christmas in Paris. Thanks for the website. I will look at the rest of it. (I love that you included Harry's Bar.)
You've benefited from Fodor's (as most of us have), but I benefited particularly from your Paris Christmas report as we went the next year over the holiday. So a belated thank you to you and I look forward to Rome and your future travels. Your reports are terrific.

Once again dinner will be late because I'm totally entranced by Maitai's reports -![Imported](https://www.fodors.com/community/images/smilies/imported/smiley.gif)
My husband used to put together an album of photos after each of our trips.... but the digital age is much better!

Tom, as always... YOU ROCK, DUDE! Loved the website. Now I can get my "MaitaiTom fix" whenever I need it!
Looking forward to your Rome report in the new year, as we are returning in April!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and Tracy, Mary and Kim!
