I think you are short changing Vienna. You should do 4 nights. If travelling during warm weather you can do a nice day trip to Melk Abbey - it is worth it!
Third city could be Budapest (common) or Dresden. Given number of days you have in Prague, you could do a day trip from there which is what I did. Dresden is beautiful but not sure worth 3 nights.

Thank you to so many of you who responded to my thread! I appreciate suggestions especially for restaurants, sightseeing and music. I will try and answer and/or include some context about our travel plans:
We would LOVE to add more days to Vienna however most of the trip is centered around Prague and work-related events my husband has. We hope to travel to Vienna again in the future for a more extensive trip and include Budapest.
We have spent quite a bit of time in London over the years. Since we will be in central Europe we thought to see more in that region.
I haven't arranged the hotel in Vienna. It's sheer luck our hotel in Prague is near Vysehrad!
We plan on taking the train from Vienna to Prague. I mapped it and it's a little over 4 hrs. Question: Do we need to buy train tickets in advance or can we wait till we arrive in Vienna?
Re: Berlin - We're thinking 2 nights and leave on a late flight the 3rd day for London. That would give us 1 day and night in London to see friends.
In Berlin the hotels I'm considering are in Mitte.
If any other thoughts or suggestions come to mind please share. Thanks in advance for taking the time!

Buy train tickets in advance. They cost much more closer to your date. Advance booking opens up to 3 months before the trip.
Check both train sites for Austria and Czech Republic. First time I went I got the cheaper tickets from Czech site and last time (this past winter) I got cheaper tickets from Austria. Austrian trains are nicer and more modern. See if you can get business. Business class on the Austrian train was nice. However, it is much cheaper if you buy non refundable; otherwise not worth the price difference.
Check man in seat 61 for train info if not aware of site.
