Where to stay in Gasgow?

We are renting a place out side of Perth but will be spending 3 nights in Glasgow. We need names of places to stay and the area we should be in.

Loon, I am not sure how much posting you have done here. (I am relatively new myself) Something tells me if you do get replies that they will want to know what your budget is perhaps, and some more specifics, like are you going with children, etc.

Having said that I was there last May and we stayed at The Millenium in Glascow, I believe that it was near St. Georges Square?

I will try to find the website for you. My room was lovely. I cannot remember what the cost was. We walked around to everywhere we wanted to go in Glascow.

Will try to get some specifics if you would like.

I am going to try to give you the link to the hotel. I am not that computer literate so I will try to figure this out. http://www.glasgowguide.co.uk/hotels-fr-millennium.htmm Hotel Glasgow

I think that is what you want. That also has a whole bunch of hotels in it too.

I hope this is a help.

I should have been more specific. Price range would be in the moderate range and within walking distance to the major attractions. I have notice in the tourist books that the two areas seem to be the west and central. Is one better than the other? Thanks for the web site,I'm going to it now.

I'm not trying to be difficult here, but a) one person's moderate is another person's cheap, so could you give us numbers and please specify if the price is per person or per room; and b) major attractions? in Glasgow? What is it you want to see and do when you're there?
