Where to stay in Paros and Naxos
We have decided to stay in Paros with a day trip to Antiparos. My travel agent recommends staying in Krios at Paros Agnati hotel or should we stay at Parilio which is more expensive and still not walking distance to Noussa? It seems far from Noussa where we were originally the better area to stay? Recommendations welcome. We will be in Paros 3 nights before heading to Naxos. In Naxos, were are thinking of staying at Hotel Galaxy. Another hotel is Nissaki beach, but it is currently sold out for Sept 2-5 that was recommended. Many hotels are already sold out.

Both hotels have mixed reviews in the Google Maps app. If you stay in Agnanti at Krios you need a rental car or face a long walk into Parikia for evening meals and entertainment. Parilio, as you wrote, is also a long walk into Naoussa. Have you considered other locations on Paros? Have a look at hotels in Piso Livadi (near Naoussa) and Aliki at the south coast of Paros. You can probably do better than your agent’s recommendations with your own search, using Fodor’s and TripAdvisor websites.
Personally, on my first visit to Paros I discovered the little island of Antiparos, which ticks all the boxes for me. Antiparos is only seven minutes by ferry from Pounta on Paros, and about 20 minutes directly to Parikia on a smaller shuttle boat. Check out Kastro Boutique Hotel and ThalaSea Studios & Apartments, both on the edge of town overlooking Psaraliki Beach. Nowhere in town is more than a few minutes walk to beaches and a huge choice of shops, cafes and restaurants.
