Windsor Visit - August
Hi.
I'm planning a visit to Windsor Castle on Fri 2nd August (staying Old Windsor).
Would like some advice in regards to the tickets and times/best plan of action.
We would like to goto the chapel, see the state rooms etc and also the Great Kitchen tour.
11am is the earliest we could get to the castle, but I'm unsure as to what are the best times for the kitchen tour / going to the chapel.
Thinking would it be better to do the chapel first and have the Kitchen tour either 2pm / 3pm?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to Fodors. I've visited the Castle many times (though never seen the Kitchens because I haven't been in late summer for decades). If it was me I'd do the Doll's House first, then the State Rooms -- then depending on the time do the Kitchens and finish up in the Chapel. Only because the kitchens are nearer the State Rooms than the Chapel is. You definitely don't want to miss the Chapel nor leave it too late. The Chapel can be closed for private events at any time so I'd double check when first entering -- if there will be a closure -- say in the late afternoon -- then definitely hit the Chapel first.
