I'm returning to Portugal and Spain's Costa del Sol using Grand Circle Travel and would like others to enjoy the experience as I did in January 2005. The dates are January 12-30th. I'm having difficulty getting word out beyond my neighborhood. Please contact me if you have any questions. The detailed itinerary is on www.gct.com (I don't know why the post is showing the site address twice). If anything else,I would appreciate any insight as to how to get people together for this trip. Unfortunately, I found that people outside my group are signing up so quickly I only have two weeks basically to get things together. I have started this wish of mine in August. Thank you for your help. Portugal is a fantastic place to see and such a surprising cultural background. Thank you so much for your help.

I don't understand what you're doing. You have taken this same tour and are now signed up to take it again? Are you trying to recruit a group so you get a discount?
I'm not traveling for a shile, so it makes no difference to me personally, but I'm just trying to understand your post.

According to the site, if he/she recruits 10 people to his/her group then he/she travels free. Why should complete strangers care about that?

If you were offering to work it out so that the group payment for 10 is shared equally between all 11 of you, so that everyone benefits from a slightly lower cost, you might get some takers.

Icn325 - also, since we know absolutely nothing about you, how do we know if we are just like you or want to be just like you? Maybe an opportunist - which I am not, and I would not want to travel with a group of them.
