advice needed for Costa Rica

Has anyone ever stayed at the Makanda or La Mariposa hotels in MA? I am booking a trip to CR for April and need some feedback which hotel. I am traveling with my 3 daughters who are 19, 18, and 16. Thanks

Between those 2 , Makanda . But they might also like SiComoNo , Costa Verde , or Tulemar Bungalows .

It was there a few months ago, lol, and they were in flat out additional construction. Still there, certainly.

We stayed at Makanda and enjoyed it. But with your girls, I woud suggest checking out Si Como No. We also stayed there and it is much more "family" friendly. Plus it's location cannot be beat. And we loved the free shuttle to MA Park and the fact that we could walk to restaurants. You cannot when staying at Makanda. You are pretty isolated unless you call a taxi.
But are wonderful resorts. Don't know about La Mariposa.

Tully, you're really making me worry about Tulemar Bungalows. We will be there in mid-March. Will our stay be spoiled by construction?
