Bosque del Cabo accomdations...help?!

Hi all..so I'm about ready to book with Bosque del Cabo but I have a quick question. I've got a choice of Vista del Mar or a deluxe cabina...which one should I book??? I've seen pictures of Vista del Mar and I've read that it's on the lower level...does it have a good ocean view?? It's going to be for our honeymoon and we want a great view! Is it worth the extra money to go with the deluxe? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks to everyone in advance!

Natalie

Natalie,

I just returned from Bosque del Cabo. Is Vista del Mar a cabina or in the garden area? If it is in the garden - then go with the cabina. All the cabinas looked pretty good to me. They all have some ocean view, although a little blocked by natural shrubery. The garden cabins are farther away and have no ocean view.

I haven't been to BDC yet (going next month) but they told me that Vista Del Mar is under the owner's office and has an ocean view. They called it a deluxe cabina but it has a queen size bed. For $30.00 more a night, I would take the deluxe cabina...they are supposed to have nicer decks and king size beds. We are staying in a standard cabina because that was all they had available....I'm certain that they will all be nice..Lori

Take the deluxe cabin. Without a doubt.

All the standard and deluxe cabins line the bluff overlooking the ocean. I believe any of the deluxe or standard cabins will be perfect for your honeymoon.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and had the Gecko cabina, which was wonderful. I posted pictures just a few days back of this cabin.

As I understand it, Vista Mar is underneath the owners home office. I did not look at it when there, but the pictures Leonardo sent me look ok.

Deluxe Cabin - hands down.

Hi climbernat,
We too received pictures of Vist del Mar this summer when it was very booked up at BDC. It looked very dark. You want a cabina, deluxe or standard is nicer than Vista del Mar. We have had Congo and Mariposa and visited friends at Mongliol(sp). Mariposa has a cool outdoor tub and a great view, but our favorite is Congo. The deck is cantilevered over the hill and has a great view. Leonoardo can probably email you photos, but Congo wins for us. (When things were booked up they gave us a house for the same price as the deluxe and then we ended up moving three times during the days we were there just to return). You will have a wonderful time.

The deluxe cabinas are fabulous, I'm sure--however, we thought our standard was quite nice. 2 beds rather than a king and a little less verandah. Same wonderful outdoor shower with the gorgeous view! I, too, would vote for either the deluxe or standards on the bluff overlooking the Golfo Dulce.
