Cabo San Lucas

I am planning a trip to Cabo the second week of June but I am having a hard time trying to decide which city to stay in. My main requirement is a hotel with a beach.

If you want a hotel that is located on a swimming beach, I suggest you stay in Cabo San Lucas. There are several nice Hotels located on Medano beach (the swimming beach), including the Melia San Lucas, Pueblo Bonita Blanco, Pueblo Bonita Rose/

I think the Melia San Lucas is very nice, and of the 3, they are the only one with a swimm up bar.

'Just got back from Los Cabos. If you want to go out at night, you will need to stay closer to Cabo San Lucas. If you want to swim in the water, you need to check closely on the beaches near your hotel. When they say "not a swimming beach" they are not kidding! I saw tourists lose cameras, sandals, etc. just from trying to wade to their knees. Also, trips to town require a taxi/rental car from most resorts. If this is going to strain your budget, best to stay close in.
