k,
de nada, but while here, do consider having a glass of wine on our stunning view decks near sunset.

More thanks to Mikemo. Just returned from SMA - had a great time. Viajes San Miguel was great - on time for pickup and return and I mean on time, not just sorta on time. Very reliable and competitively priced.

Just booked La Casa de la Marquesa in Queretaro and VILLA MARIA CRISTINA in Guanajuato for indepedance day in Mexico. Got a car from hertz for $125.00. Both town look wonderfuly interesting and the fiesta sounds fun!!!Looks like there are major roads from BJX to both locations. Anyone have any experience in these locals?

jb,
Sure, but where are you arriving and getting the car?
Both are large, fairly complicated cities and parking in Gto. is sparse(other than commercial cocheras/garages).
The colonial Centros are wonderful in both.
I would not call them major roads, but certainly good in daylight. Be sure the car's tires are inflated to the max pressure recommended.
Be sure to stop in SMdA; Aotonilco and Dolores Hidalgo on the way to/from Gto.
Buen viaje.
