Has anyone stayed at LaMansion in Costa Rica?
I have heard too many mixed responses on Tabacon Lodge...some love it, some hate it. This forum has helped me in so many ways and confused me in others. I am looking at other places in La Fortuna for our honeymoon. Can anyone tell me about La Mansion Arenal Inn? Thanks

I returned from Costa Rica yesterday and spent three days at this magnificent resort. As a travel professional I look for possible problems that clients may encounter. There are none at La Mansion Inn. The views are spectacular, the villas very romantic, staff is wonderful, and the chef creates gourmet meals that are incredible. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like more details. I would highly recommend this resort, but have some suggestions to make your trip smooth and trouble-free.

Hi,
I am trying to plan my honeymoon and am considering La Mansion Inn, Manuel Antonio. It looks so beautiful! Our honeymoon will go from June 1 - June 11. I think we are planning the following:
Night 1-2: Xandari Plantation - San Jose
Night 3: La Paz Waterfall: Peace Lodge
Night 4-5:Arenal Volcano, Arenal Lodge
Night 6: Monteverde - Monteverde Lodge
Night 7,8,9: Manuel Antonio - La Mansion Inn
Night 10: Back to San Jose.
What do you think??
Thank you!

Shonda, you came up with interesting itinerary. However, I would skip Monteverde. It is a nice place to visit but not for one night when driving from Arenal one day and the next day driving from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio. Would you consider adding one more night to Peace Lodge?

Thanks Pat,
After all the great advise I have recieved in this forum, I may change my itinerary a bit. I am now thinking about
Day 1-2 Xandari Plantation
Day 3,4,5 Arenal- La Mansion Inn Arenal
Day 6,7,8,9 Manuel ANtonio - La Mansion Inn
Day 10 Back to San Jose to return home on the 11th
I am going to see if I can add a couple days to the vacation so we can go the Monteverde between Arenal and Manuel Antonio.
What do you think of this itinerary?
Thanks!

hi
we stayed in the La Mansion Inn for 7 nights and loved every minute of it. The stuff is friendly and helpful ready to accomodate every simple need, the grounds are beautiful, lush full of flowers and tress, our room had a gorgeuos ocean view- We had a great time-it's small and intimate and close to everything-if more questions I will be happy to reply
