Isla Mujeres to Playa del Carmen transportation
All,
Less than two weeks away from my wife's 40th birthday week in Isla Mujeres!!! We're hoping/planning a guided tour through Tulum during one of our days there, and the guides pick up and drop off in Playa del Carmen. Thus, I need to find the best way to/from PDC from Isla. Inexpensive transpo is great but reliable and quick is better. Appreciate all thoughts!

Go to this site. They a transportation company and their rates are lower than a local travel agency. They have available their services in vans with air condition and driver.

There are many options, not the least of which is a catamaran ride from Isla to PDC. There is also a ferry.
You could, if you wanted, take the ferry back to Cancun and then take a taxi the half hour to 45 minutes south to PDC, but this is probably the longest route.
I'd check out some of the local catamarans on the beach. Asking your hotel may be the easiest, but not the least expensive, choice.
