Manual Antonio Hotel Choice

We, family incl. teenager, are going to MA in March of 2006. Our package has choice of Parador, SiComoNo, and Mariposa. Any advice on which one to choose?

Si Como No is by a LONG shot the most popular hotel ...... great reviews consistently , can't say the same for the others .

We liked Si Como No as well. For what it's worth, Friday's edition of The Tico Times (travel article) had an interesting article about La Mansion in Manuel Antonio. The photo was beautiful. Pricey, but probably no more than Parador.

We stayed at Parador last Feb and it was beautiful. It's on the top of the hill at the end of the road that all of the other hotels that are named in this string. It's a very large hotel by Quepos standards but not "large" like a huge Miami resort or anything. They have their own nature trails to hike on which have lots of monkeys and 2 beautiful pools (one that is kid free) and one that is "endless" with a bar in it. They also have a spa and excercise room. I think all rooms face the water so the views are spectacular. We went to Mariposa for a drink at Sunset which the place is known for. From a hotel perspective, Parador is MUCH MUCH nicer. Pool at Mariposa looked like it was an above ground pool in a low rent neighborhood. I had heard about SiComoNo, but never went in. It seems like it's in a higher traffic'd area where Parador is much more secluded. If it's all the same $$$$, I'd go to Parador in a heartbeat.
