Mexican Food Dictionary Online?
Hello everyone,
We're going to Oaxaca and Mexico City in a week. Does anyone know of a good online dictionary for Mexican food terms? I've searched and cannot find anything that really goes deeply into the details of different foods. For example, the ideal handy online and downloadable dictionary would explain the differences between all the various tacos, suadero versus campechano etc.
I've started cobbling together my own list from different sources, and Nicholas Gilman's little paperback "Good Food in Mexico City" has a great glossary.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know, I admit I'm not that big a foodie that I care about the sutbtleties that much, I know Spanish well enough to read the menus and know what I am eating in the big picture (eg, meat or fish or whatever). I would know if a taco had meat in it or not, but I don't care about exact definitions.
But if you want one for various styles of tacos, this looks good

Here's a simple list from a food truck in my hometown

but you probably know that much

I don't know, but tell us if you find one! I am a food person (not as much as some, but still). A good Mexico City resource for English speakers, though not an online dictionary, is this blog if you haven't perused it:
