Puerto Jimenez Airport

How long of a walk is it from the Puerto Jimenez airport to the town?

Wow, that is quick. We will probably need that extra sixty seconds since we will have our bags.

Would you happen to know:
If we are going to Iguana Lodge, and they are picking us up and we want to stop in town at the store would they do that for us or would it be best to have them pick us up in town?

There is a store within throwing distance from the airport. I'm sure Iguana won't mind. Everyone is very accomodating.

I know when Bosque picks you up they stop at the little store right by the airport, it's got a pretty good selection and a restroom. So I'm sure Iguana is the same way.

Thank you! We like to drink lots of water. Would it be best to stock up before staying at The Pearl? Should get more before BdC, too?

I don't know about the Pearl--however, BDC has a filter near the bar where you can fill your water bottles, so no need to stock up. They will point it out to you.

Thank you! So good to know; makes less for us to haul around.

Be prepared for the Puerto Jimenez "airport". It is a dirt strip across the street from the town and shops and adjacent to a cemetary!
If you fly Nature Air there is a small clean reception area, but Sansa is out in a field under a lean-to. Just adds to the mystique!?

I never tell about the cemetary because I like to see peoples faces when they see it for the first time.

Where is the reception area for Nature Air? I usually get put under a tree across the street.

Yeah Sansa has the open air with roof but I've never seen the Nature Air, I heard it was a tree too, lol. Maybe new?
