Ruins from Cancun - Chichen Itza and/or Coba

Was looking to go Chichen Itza as a day trip from Cancun. Are there any day trips that include both? Are they far apart from each other?

Thanks.

About the only way you could do both woult be to take the flight tour of Chichen Itza.

You can tour Coba on your own, a lot of people rent bikes to get around it since the grounds are so large.

I don't think you can do it. CI is west of Cancun, a round trip excursion lasts 11 hours. Coba is south. Even if you were to get to Coba from CI (a slower trip because of the roads), the site would be closed.

I think you'll have to schedule it for different days. Maybe link Coba with Tulum? Or rent a car and do it yourself over two or three days.

Thanks, looks like Chichen Itza for sure, since its on the Wonder of the World list. If we want to spend a day less on the beach, we'll look into another ruin.
