Salta Suggestions

If you have two full days and one half day in Salta, where would you go and what would you do? This would be at the end of June.

Thank you.

SLChicago, that is not enough but I think that this will be just your first trip to SAlta, so, I suggest to see the best, tale one day and a half to see Purmamarca, Tilcara and the Salt Flats amd one day for Cafayate, tasting wines and goat cheese.
If you have the chance take a private tour, to adjust the timetable to your needs. It will work perfectly.
Have a nice time.
Flintstones.

Thank you, Flintstones.

I agree that this will not be my only visit to Salta; in fact, there is a list of places that I want to go back to from my previous trips.

However, if I try fit in one more day and do three full days and one half-day, where would you go?

Thanks again.

Well, If I were you I would take a private tour and make arrangements to be picked up at the airport and start my tour to the north, I would see Tilcara and spend the night in Purmamarca, next day I would go to Salinas Grandes and back to SAlta. And One day tour to Cafayate... That would be the best way to use your "short time" in Salta. The private tours let u use your time better and to do what you really want. The regular tours take big groups and waste a lot of time in "commercial" stops.
Warm regards.

Flintstones, whose real name is Angie, is a top independent Salta guide.

But she is VERY shy and does not say so. Well, maybe she is not THAT shy and does not say so because forum rules do not allow self-promotion?

However, HAVING USED HER SERVICES, I can recommend her without reservations.

I can also provide many links to trip reports that mention her favorably.
