Sayulita in July

Happy New Year!
We are looking for some information about Sayulita in July! Any one out there with experience of staying in this small town during that month?...I'm thinking it's going to be hot and humid. We'll be attending a destination wedding at Don Pedro's and looking for accommodations with AC for one week within walking distance of this venue...on or very near the beach.
Thanks for your input.

I know Puerto Vallarta (1 hour away) so not specific experience staying in Sayulita, but YES it will be hot and humid in July in that area. Plus it is the beginning of the "rainy season".

Some people like summer-time there, for others it is just too hot to be enjoyable. That said, I personally would go down any month except Aug/Sept myself. And since this is for a wedding you don't really have any date choices sounds like. Definitely get AC where you stay!

Hopefully you'll get some rain, which usually starts in June, but it was late by over a month last year.

We live in Sayulita year round. July is hot, but not unbearable. If you can rent something with a pool great. In previous visits we stayed at Casablanca it's on the beach. Or visit www.sayulitalife.com and there is lots to see there.
