Semana Santa in Costa Rica

Hi Guys-

We will be in the Manuel Antonio area for Holy Week in April 2020. It seems like there are some cool cultural traditions including processions through towns that we can watch or be part of. Anyone have any experience with this or tips to share?

Thanks in advance!

I've always heard Manuel Antonio is packed at Easter because all the locals go to the beach. Some towns have processions, parades, etc. You could check with your hotel for details. Expect lots of traffic. There may be limited alcohol sales on certain days as well.
