Tour planning..!!

Hello...Can anybody tell me, what is a good time to travel to Mexico?? My husband and I have a plan to travel towards Mexico in May or April. Suggest me is it a good time to go there?? If no, then tell me any other place to travel in these months or other best time for Mexico??

It somewhat depends on where you'd want to visit. April and May are typically very dry throughout the country, so you wouldn't have much rain to factor in. But those months can be the hottest months in Central Mexico, but that's somewhat relative, I guess, depending on what you're used to. For example, in Guanajuato state where I live, it typically gets into the mid to upper 80's F in those months during the day, but cools down to the mid to low 50's F at night. Humidity very low at around 25%, if not less, on average. Coastal areas start to get hotter as well, but the really brutal heat and humidity starts in July through September in those areas. Typically.

Like Baldone says, where in Mexico? When I visit the Riviera Maya area it is always in early May both for my birthday and also hotel prices typically are lower starting in May, it is usually not windy and it is too early for schools to be out, so less kids other than a few littles, so less crowds. Most of the time there is not much rain, and if it does rain it is brief and often at night or late afternoon.

For the Puerto Vallarta area, I prefer to visit in fall or winter (early December is great). But I haven't been to PV in about 6 years so defer to Suze and others whose knowledge is more recent.

Agree, we need to know where in Mexico you are considering to be able to help? If you've any interesting in Puerto Vallarta (mid-Pacific coast) I consider that my home-away-from-home and can help. April and May are lovely weather there, but really anytime from November thru May will likely be pleasant. By May you may find lower prices as that's getting away from 'high season' winter rates.

We removed the Trip Report tag and added one for Mexico.

We generally like visiting in Dec or January. We are in Zihuatenejo right now and it is around 86 degrees and 70’s at night. It is beautiful, unfortunately for the locals not many tourists to bolster there economy, but they are very happy to see us.
