If you're in Switzerland this week-end and want something different to do ...
The Swiss company Roche owns a beautiful peninsula on Lake Zug, not far from Rotkreuz or Lucerne. It has outstanding landscaping, with a variety of gardens, including a large kitchen garden, kilometers of walking paths, a gorgeous lakeside setting, 12th century castle, and various other buildings, including a large chalet. It is open to the public twice a year, normally in May. The free day will be this Saturday, May 11. Free buses will take you there from the Rotkreuz train station. Dogs are welcome too (on lead).
