I haven't traveled extensively but I traveled as a child and teenager and throughout my adult life. All adult travel was wonderful because I controlled the variables. When I was young and traveling with a family it was less enjoyable because I didn't have the freedom to make choices.

I think 20-23 is best time for travel across the world if your single. Because at that time you are enjoy the trips with your friends and no worry about kids, wife and family.
