Best Place to Stay In Atlanta If You Want ...

to visit the Princess Di exhibit at the Atlanta Civic Center, visit "the" Aquarium and see an Atlanta Thrashers hockey game?

Thanks, all!

Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown would be my first choice. An Embassy Suites is within a block.

stumpworks73, I know nothing about Atlanta. Are the three places I mention visiting close together, and which is closest to the Hilton/ES? Thanks again!

The Hilton Garden and Embassy Suites are across the street from the aquarium. There is a Marta station in the Omni (behind aquarium) that can take you to Civic Center.

The Thrashers play at Philips Arena downtown, which is adjacent to CNN Center and is on the other side of Centennial Park from the aquarium.

The Thrashers play a block from the aquarium. The Civic Center is a 5 minute cab ride or you can take MARTA (I'd go with MARTA). The Embassy Suites and the Hilton Garden are your most economical and convenient choices.
