Spring is not only my favorite time in Wine Country, but also for anywhere in California. I'll take verdant hills and vineyards, the color of abundant wildflowers, fresh breezes and a few scattered showers anyday over brown hills, oppressive heat, bad air quality and throngs of tourists.
St. Valentine's Day to May 1st is the time I like best.

We bought a Napa trip with a huge distributor and they can get us a room any time and tours any time...would it be horrible to visit there in March, when we have some time off? I don't really want to wait until next fall because it is awesome here in Florida in the fall with way too much to do here.
So...I'd also like to hop over to Tahoe fora few days of skiing in March...how has the weather been out there so far in 2006? Would spring break be a horrible time to visit Napa if they can make it work?
