Thinking of staying there for the first time, but after reading Trip Advisor, I had some questions for those who are familiar.

1. Neighboring construction. Still going on? Seems like the south tower is facing it? North tower ok?

2. Generator shed producing a lot of noise. Where would this be located? I want to definitely avoid this area.

3. Staff and kitchen walkway which seemed to produce a lot of noise, especially early in the morning when they arrived for work.

4. Renovations to rooms completed? Someone mentioned that the first floor rooms are still not complete and should be avoided.

How recent were those reviews? I stayed a week there in April 2004 and didn't encounter any of these problems but maybe this stuff started after my visit since that was 2 years ago that I was there. We spent a week of our honeymoon there and really enjoyed it. Very relaxing, great lagoon/beach, good food, good service. We didn't have any complaints.
